Registration requirements
Participation in Doula Training at Sea 2027: Sustain and Serve requires two separate registrations: the education fee, and a cabin aboard the Star Princess booked through Fit For a Star Travel. Cruise fees must be paid in full by the final payment date Princess Cruises sets for your booking, which varies by package and stateroom category. Fit For a Star Travel will confirm your exact final-payment deadline when you reserve your cabin.
The workshops are exclusively for participants registered for both the education portion and the cruise. Failure to meet these requirements will result in forfeiture of access to the workshops and any associated benefits.
Education fee refunds
The education fee is refundable until May 1, 2027, with a $100 administrative fee applied to all refunds. Refund requests must be submitted in writing. After May 1, 2027, no refunds will be issued on the education fee, regardless of circumstances.
Cruise cancellations
All cruise-related cancellations and refunds are subject to the policies of Fit For a Star Travel and Princess Cruises. Princess cancellation fees are set by how far out you cancel:
- 90 or more days before sailing: no fee
- 75 to 89 days: 25 percent of total charges
- 61 to 74 days: 50 percent of total charges
- 31 to 60 days: 75 percent of total charges
- Within 30 days: 100 percent of total charges
Government taxes and fees are refundable. Please contact Fit For a Star Travel directly for cruise cancellation terms.
Liability and travel insurance
The organizer, Robin Elise Weiss, and Fit For a Star Travel are not responsible for travel delays, cancellations, or other circumstances that may affect your ability to attend. I strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment. If you want it, notify Fit For a Star Travel within two weeks of your deposit.
Fees, deposits, and travel documents
By registering, participants agree to these terms, including meeting all payment deadlines. The education fee is $297 for early registration through May 1, 2027, and $397 for registrations on or after May 2, 2027. The cruise requires a deposit of $250 per person, and higher stateroom categories such as The Sanctuary may require $500 per person. Final cruise payment is due on the date Princess Cruises sets for your booking, as confirmed by Fit For a Star Travel. A valid US passport with at least six months of validity beyond the return date is required.
